Fashionably Late...But We're Happy You're Here!

I was just telling a friend that these dreary days can go away any time now...well, they have! At least for the moment! So, spring was due here on March 20, but you would have never known. It was about 50 degrees at its highest, spending most of the day in the 40's...Brrr! It was very cold, not to mention the mood swings that Mother Nature was having! One moment it was sunny, an hour later it was hailing, then pouring rain, then snowing, then sunny again! This went on for about a week! It was wild! Some schools in the area were canceled or delayed due to snow! But...now she is here!

Caden was home sick today, so he and I spent the day together. We spent the morning playing farm, indoor soccer, baseball with a balloon, building and cutting with his new Black and Decker work bench, and being lovey. It was great! Then the afternoon came and pow! The sun was shining and not only that, but it was actually warm! Warm enough for me to take a walk with Caden in a tank top! We loved it! We had a great afternoon playing in the backyard and exploring the woods behind our house. I couldn't have asked for a better day to be home with my sick little boy!

Took some time to mow the lawn-get it out of storage and tune it up!

Although we have discovered a love for bayball, we will always be a soccer player! He was dribbling the baseball around the yard!

He even tried to put the baseball in the chuck it!
